- Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Chemical or Sugar Engineering related field.
- Strong understanding of plant design, construction, and operation.
- Experience in turnkey erection and commissioning of Sugar Plants, Mill house, Process House, Boiler & Power Generation Projects. (For Boiler & Cogen_ Boiler Proficiency is preferable)
- Knowledge of relevant codes and standards (ASME, API, IBR, etc.).
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting engineering drawings and specifications.
- Proficiency in relevant software (CAD, project management tools).
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
- Attention to detail and commitment to safety & quality standards.
- Knowledge of automation and control systems is beneficial.
- Willingness to travel to project sites and work in challenging environments.
- Project Planning and Management:
- Develop detailed project plans, including timelines, resource allocation, and risk assessments.
- Coordinate with various stakeholders, such as project managers, site engineers, and vendors, to ensure smooth project execution.
- Monitor project progress and take corrective actions to meet deadlines and budgets.
- Equipment Erection and Installation:
- Supervise the erection and installation of machinery and milling equipment
- Ensure that equipment is installed according to engineering drawings, specifications, and industry standards.
- Conduct quality checks to verify the correct installation and alignment of equipment.
- Piping and Instrumentation:
- Oversee the installation of piping systems for steam, water, and other fluids.
- Ensure proper installation and calibration of instruments, such as pressure gauges, temperature sensors, and flow meters.
- Electrical and Automation Systems:
- Coordinate with electrical and automation engineers to ensure the correct installation and wiring of electrical panels, motors, and control systems.
- Commission electrical and automation systems, including PLC programming, HMI configuration, and motor control center setup.
- Commissioning and Startup:
- Conduct pre-commissioning checks, such as hydraulic and pneumatic tests, to verify the functionality of equipment.
- Perform commissioning activities, including system startup, parameter tuning, and load testing.
- Troubleshoot and resolve any issues that arise during the commissioning process.
- Safety and Quality Assurance:
- Prioritize safety by adhering to safety protocols and ensuring that all personnel follow safety guidelines.
- Implement quality control measures to ensure that all work is carried out to the highest standards.
- Document all activities, including testing results, inspection reports, and maintenance records.
