Job Summary
We are looking for a caring, energetic, and patient Assistant Teacher to support the Lead Teacher in providing a safe, nurturing, and engaging learning environment for pre-primary students. The Assistant Teacher will help with classroom activities, student supervision, lesson preparation, and the overall development of young learners.
Key ResponsibilitiesClassroom Support
- Assist the Lead Teacher in implementing daily lesson plans and learning activities.
- Support children in classroom tasks, play-based learning, and educational activities.
- Help prepare teaching aids, learning materials, and classroom displays.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and child-friendly classroom environment.
Student Care & Supervision
- Supervise students during class, recess, meals, and other school activities.
- Assist children with personal hygiene, eating habits, and basic self-care routines when required.
- Ensure the safety and well-being of students at all times.
- Encourage positive behavior and social interaction among children.
Learning & Development
- Support children's cognitive, emotional, social, and physical development.
- Assist in conducting storytelling, rhymes, art and craft, music, and recreational activities.
- Observe student progress and share observations with the Lead Teacher.
- Encourage creativity, curiosity, and independent learning.
Administrative Support
- Assist in maintaining attendance records and student documentation.
- Help organize classroom resources and learning materials.
- Support school events, celebrations, field trips, and parent engagement activities.
Qualifications
- Higher Secondary (12th Grade) or Bachelor's degree in any discipline.
- Diploma/Certification in Early Childhood Education (ECE), Montessori Training, Nursery Teacher Training (NTT), or related field preferred.
Skills Required
- Passion for working with young children.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Patience, empathy, and a positive attitude.
- Ability to work collaboratively with teachers and parents.
- Basic classroom management and organizational skills.
Experience
- 0–2 years of experience in a preschool, kindergarten, or primary school preferred.
- Freshers with relevant training and a genuine interest in early childhood education are welcome to apply.
Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
