Arena Animation Mysore is looking for a passionate and experienced Center Academic Head to lead academic delivery and training operations at our institute. The ideal candidate should be a multi-skilled generalist trainer with expertise in 3D animation software along with working knowledge of graphic design and video post-production tools.
This role involves teaching, mentoring students, supervising academic quality, and ensuring industry-aligned learning outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver training in 3D animation and digital media software.
- Manage and oversee academic activities and course delivery.
- Mentor students and guide them in portfolio and project development.
- Monitor batch progress, student performance, and academic quality standards.
- Support faculty coordination and improve teaching effectiveness.
- Conduct workshops, demo sessions, and academic reviews.
- Stay updated with latest industry trends in Animation, VFX, Gaming, and Creative Media.
- Motivate students and maintain a productive learning environment.
Required Skills
- Strong proficiency in:
- Autodesk Maya
- Unreal Engine
- Blender
- Working knowledge of:
- Graphic Design tools (Photoshop, Illustrator, etc.)
- Video Editing & Post-production tools (Premiere Pro, After Effects or similar)
- Understanding of animation production pipelines and real-time workflows.
Experience
- Minimum 2+ years teaching experience in animation/multimedia software.
- Experience in training institutes or academic environments preferred.
Language Requirements
- Strong communication skills in English (mandatory)
- Ability to communicate in Hindi and Kannada preferred.
