JOB Summary :
The Staff Nurse is responsible for providing nursing care to patients undergoing fertility and IVF treatments. The role includes assisting doctors during IVF procedures, monitoring patients, administering medications, maintaining records, and ensuring quality patient care throughout the treatment cycle.
Responsibilities :
- Assist consultants during
- IVF procedures
- IUI procedures
- Egg Retrieval (OPU)
- Embryo Transfer (ET)
- Minor OT procedures
- Prepare and counsel patients before procedures
- Monitor patient vitals before and after treatment
- Administer medications, injections, IV fluids, and hormonal therapy as prescribed
- Maintain accurate nursing and IVF documentation
- Ensure infection control and sterilization protocols are followed
- Coordinate with doctors, embryologists, OT staff, and front office teams
- Handle patient appointments and follow-up instructions
- Support emergency care when required
- Maintain patient confidentiality and professional ethics
Required Skills :
- Good communication and counseling skills
- Knowledge of IVF/gynecology procedures
- OT assistance and patient monitoring
- Injection and IV administration
- Basic computer and documentation skills
- Team coordination and patient handling
Working Conditions :
- Rotational shifts
- OT/Procedure room duties
- Weekend availability if required
