About the Role: We are looking for a skilled and innovative candidate AI Ad Creator & Video Editor to produce high-performing video advertisements for local service brands. In this role, you will operate as an independent contractor, responsible for managing your own hardware and software resources.
You will work closely with our agency to transform client briefs into engaging 30–90 second video advertisements. The ideal candidate will leverage generative AI tools and professional video editing skills to deliver polished and captivating ad content that drives audience retention and conversions.
Roles and Responsibilities:
A. Video Advertisement Production
- Create 30–90 second video advertisements for platforms including Instagram, Facebook, YouTube Shorts, and Google Display Network.
- Edit raw footage, AI-generated clips, and stock elements into cohesive, polished video ads.
- Add captions, subtitles, music, transitions, and branding elements to all videos.
- Produce content in multiple aspect ratios (9:16, 1:1, 16:9, 4:5) as required.
B. AI Tool Integration
- Use generative AI tools (Nano Banana, ChatGPT, Midjourney) to create custom visuals for advertisements.
- Use AI video generation tools (Runway, Veo 3, Kling AI, Seedance 2.0, Higgsfield) for motion elements and effects.
- Use ChatGPT, Gemini, Claude or similar LLMs to write ad scripts, hooks, captions, and CTAs.
- Review and edit all AI-generated content to ensure accuracy, originality, and brand fit.
C. Creative Brief Execution
- Read and interpret detailed creative briefs provided by the project manager (founder).
- Translate brief requirements into compelling visual concepts.
- Deliver final assets on time and per specifications.
- Execute revision requests quickly to align drafts with client-specific brand requirements.
D. Quality and File Management
- Conduct self-review of all deliverables before submission (no AI watermarks, no hallucinations, correct format and resolution).
- Maintain organized working files and source files.
- Submit all native/editable files with final delivery.
Required Skills:
- Video Editing: Proficiency in at least one of- CapCut, DaVinci Resolve, Adobe Premiere Pro, or equivalent.
- Must own a laptop/computer capable of handling modern video rendering software.
- Own and maintain your own licenses/accounts for AI generation tools and editing platforms (we care about output quality, not which specific software you use).
- A strong, clean aesthetic sense for local business branding (avoiding the generic "unpolished AI look").
- Strong visual storytelling sense.
- Attention to detail and quality.
- Ability to follow briefs and take feedback.
- Self-motivated with ability to manage own time.
- Exceptional adherence to delivery timelines. We enforce a zero-tolerance policy for ghosting or uncommunicated delays, will result immediate termination of the contract.
