The Filling Machine Operator is responsible for operating, monitoring, and maintaining adhesive filling and packaging machines used in production. This role ensures that products are filled accurately, sealed properly, and packaged safely while meeting established quality, safety, and production standards. The operator sets up machines according to production requirements, adjusts settings to maintain correct fill levels and sealing quality, and continuously monitors equipment performance during operation. They perform routine checks to detect any defects, leaks, or inconsistencies in packaging and take corrective actions when necessary.

Operate automatic/semi-automatic adhesive filling and sealing machines
- Set and adjust machine parameters as per product specifications
- Ensure correct fill quantity, weight, and sealing integrity
- Carry out in-process quality checks during filling operations
- Maintain batch records, logbooks, and production reports
- Follow plant safety procedures, PPE usage, and SOPs
- Perform routine cleaning (CIP) and basic machine maintenance
- Identify and report deviations, leakages, or equipment issues

Coordinate with QC, maintenance, and supervision teams

Maintain housekeeping in the filling and packing area

Minimum 1 year experience in filling/packing operations preferred
- Diploma or B.Sc. (Chemistry / Industrial / Production or related field) / ITI in AOCP
- Basic understanding of manufacturing and filing processes
- Ability to read SOPs, batch sheets, and work instructions, attention to detail and quality orientation
- Good communication and teamwork skills and willingness to work in rotational shifts
- Exposure to adhesive, chemical, paint, or pharma plants is an advantage
