Interior Designer – Job Description
The candidate should be responsible for planning, designing, and executing functional and aesthetically pleasing interior spaces for residential, commercial, or office environments. Also should be comfortable working in a startup environment, handling multiple responsibilities, and adapting to a fast-paced work culture.
Key Responsibilities
- Meet clients to understand requirements, budget, and design preferences
- Develop design concepts, layouts, and space planning
- Create 2D drawings, 3D models, and renderings
- Select materials, colors, furniture, lighting, and finishes
- Prepare detailed working drawings and layouts
- Coordinate with Sales and installation teams
- Visit sites to ensure proper execution of design
- Ensure projects are completed with good Csat and client experience
Required Skills
- Strong knowledge of space planning and design principles
- Proficiency in design software (AutoCAD, SketchUp, V-Ray, Lumion, etc.)
- Good communication and client handling skills
- Creativity and attention to detail
- should be able to upscale the products
- Basic knowledge of materials, furniture, and lighting
Ability to work in a startup environment with flexibility and multitasking
Qualification
Bachelor’s degree / Diploma in Interior Design or Architecture
Relevant work experience (0–1+ years depending on role)
