Job Overview
looking for a Service Technician – Heavy Machinery to support the servicing, inspection, maintenance, and troubleshooting of heavy equipment and hydraulic machinery.
This role is suitable for candidates with a Mechanical Engineering background who are interested in hands-on equipment servicing and field-based technical work.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform routine inspection and servicing of heavy machinery.
- Assist in diagnosing mechanical and hydraulic equipment issues.
- Check hydraulic pumps, cylinders, valves, hoses, and related components.
- Carry out preventive maintenance and basic repair activities.
- Support breakdown maintenance and equipment troubleshooting.
- Assist senior technicians and engineers during service activities.
- Identify damaged, worn-out, or faulty machine components.
- Maintain service records and report equipment-related issues.
- Visit customer sites for inspection and service support when required.
- Follow company safety procedures while working with machinery and tools.
Requirements
- Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
- Basic knowledge of mechanical and hydraulic systems.
- Interest in heavy machinery servicing and maintenance.
- Basic troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to use basic mechanical tools.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Willingness to travel to customer locations when required.
