Key responsibilities
- Menu and recipe management: Creating new dishes, modifying existing recipes, and planning menus.
- Kitchen leadership: Supervising and training kitchen staff, scheduling shifts, and ensuring all staff follow safety and sanitation regulations.
- Operations management: Overseeing daily kitchen operations, ensuring food is prepared in a timely manner, and coordinating with front-of-house staff.
- Inventory and ordering: Managing food stock, checking the freshness of ingredients, placing orders, and verifying deliveries.
- Quality control: Ensuring that all food dishes meet quality and presentation standards before being served.
- Financial management: Adhering to a budget and collaborating with management on business goals.
