We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Academic Director to oversee the academic programs and initiatives of our institution. The Academic Director will play a critical role in ensuring the quality and effectiveness of academic services, developing and implementing curriculum strategies, and leading the faculty towards achieving excellence in teaching and learning. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, a passion for education, and a proven track record in academic management.
Key Responsibilities:
- Academic Leadership: Provide strategic leadership in the development, review, and implementation of the academic curriculum, ensuring alignment with institutional goals, industry standards, and student needs.
- Curriculum Development: Lead the design and enhancement of academic programs across various disciplines, ensuring they are current, relevant, and rigorous.
- Faculty Development: Oversee faculty recruitment, training, and development to enhance teaching effectiveness, research capabilities, and academic support.
- Quality Assurance: Monitor and evaluate academic programs and teaching standards to ensure the institution meets or exceeds accreditation standards and academic benchmarks.
- Policy & Procedure Implementation: Develop and implement academic policies and procedures, ensuring consistency and compliance with institutional, regional, and national regulations.
- Student Support: Ensure the delivery of quality student services, including academic advising, career counseling, and other support systems to help students achieve academic success.
- Research & Innovation: Encourage and support faculty and students in academic research, innovation, and community engagement initiatives that contribute to the institution's academic reputation.
- Collaboration: Foster collaboration across departments to ensure interdisciplinary learning and support effective communication and teamwork within the institution.
- Performance Monitoring: Regularly assess and improve the performance of academic programs, faculty, and students through data-driven decision-making.
- Budget & Resource Management: Work with senior leadership to manage academic budgets and allocate resources effectively for program enhancement and faculty development.
- External Relations: Represent the academic department in discussions with external stakeholders, including accrediting bodies, government agencies, and industry partners.
- Reporting & Analysis: Prepare and present regular reports on academic performance, curriculum development, and faculty progress to senior management and stakeholders.
Education: A Master’s or Doctoral degree in a relevant field from an accredited institution. (PhD preferred).
Experience: Minimum [8] years of experience in academic leadership roles, including previous experience as a department head, academic coordinator, or senior faculty member.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: ₹40,000.00 - ₹60,000.00 per month
