Job Description – TGT Computer Science (Classes VI–VIII)
School: Sanskar Public School, Maholi Road mathura
Salary: 15k to 20K in hand
We are looking for an enthusiastic and knowledgeable TGT Computer Science Teacher to teach students of Classes VI to VIII as per the CBSE curriculum. The ideal candidate should inspire students to explore technology, develop computational thinking, and build practical computer skills through engaging and interactive lessons.
Key Responsibilities
- Teach Computer Science to Classes VI–VIII in accordance with the CBSE curriculum.
- Plan and deliver interactive, practical, and activity-based lessons.
- Teach topics such as computer fundamentals, MS Office, internet safety, digital citizenship, coding basics, AI awareness, and emerging technologies.
- Conduct hands-on practical sessions in the computer laboratory.
- Prepare lesson plans, worksheets, assignments, and assessments.
- Evaluate students through practical tests, projects, quizzes, and classroom activities.
- Maintain student records, lesson plans, and academic documentation.
- Integrate technology and digital tools to enhance teaching and learning.
- Guide students in computer-based projects, competitions, exhibitions, and school events.
- Ensure proper use and maintenance of computer lab resources.
- Collaborate with teachers and school administration to promote digital learning initiatives.
Desired Skills
- Strong knowledge of Computer Science concepts and the CBSE curriculum.
- Proficiency in MS Office, Internet applications, and educational technology.
- Basic knowledge of programming languages such as Python, Scratch, HTML, or JavaScript.
- Excellent communication and classroom management skills.
- Ability to simplify technical concepts for middle school students.
- Creativity, patience, and a passion for teaching.
- Good organizational and problem-solving skills.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Applications, or a related field.
- Relevant teaching experience in a CBSE school will be an added advantage.
