ITI Electrician – Job Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical wiring, equipment, machines, and control panels.
- Perform preventive and breakdown maintenance of electrical systems and machinery.
- Troubleshoot electrical faults and rectify them with minimum downtime.
- Read and interpret electrical drawings, circuit diagrams, and wiring schematics.
- Install and connect motors, sensors, switches, relays, contactors, and control circuits.
- Inspect electrical equipment regularly to ensure safe and efficient operation.
- Replace damaged electrical components, cables, breakers, fuses, and other accessories.
- Maintain electrical panels and ensure proper housekeeping around electrical installations.
- Follow all electrical safety standards, PPE requirements, and company safety procedures.
- Record maintenance activities, repairs, and spare parts consumption in maintenance logs.
- Assist in commissioning and installation of new machines and electrical equipment.
- Coordinate with production and maintenance teams to minimize machine downtime.
- Ensure proper use and care of electrical tools, instruments, and testing equipment.
- Report recurring electrical issues and suggest improvements for system reliability.
- Support energy-saving initiatives and maintain compliance with statutory electrical regulations.
- Attend emergency electrical breakdowns whenever required.
- Perform any other electrical maintenance tasks assigned by the Maintenance Supervisor or Manager
Pay: ₹8,673.52 - ₹29,116.16 per month
