An IT Procurement Analyst evaluates, negotiates, and manages technology-related vendor agreements and software licenses. They analyse spending data, source cost-effective hardware, software, and IT services, and collaborate with technical teams to align tech infrastructure purchases with business goals.
Key Responsibilities
- Vendor Management: Source and evaluate IT vendors, negotiate favourable pricing, manage license renewals, and monitor ongoing supplier performance.
- Procurement Operations: Create and process Purchase Orders (POs), resolve billing/invoicing discrepancies with the finance department, and oversee the procurement lifecycle
- Market Intelligence: Research emerging IT market trends, technology innovations, and pricing fluctuations to formulate proactive sourcing strategies.
- Compliance & Risk: Ensure all IT vendor contracts adhere to corporate policies, cybersecurity standards, and legal/regulatory requirements.
Required Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Experience: 5 years of experience in procurement, vendor management, or supply chain, preferably within the IT or tech industry.
- Technical Skills: Strong proficiency in using MS Excel
- Soft Skills: Exceptional negotiation, communication, and analytical skills to manage relationships with high-level tech vendors and internal stakeholders.
Pay: From ₹30,000.00 per month
