Job Summary
We are looking for a smart, energetic, and customer-focused Steward to join our restaurant team. The candidate should provide excellent food and beverage service, maintain hygiene standards, and ensure customer satisfaction through professional hospitality service.
Key Responsibilities
- Welcome guests politely and assist them with seating
- Present menu and explain dishes professionally
- Take customer orders accurately
- Serve food and beverages as per service standards
- Coordinate with kitchen and billing team
- Ensure tables are clean and properly arranged
- Handle customer requests and complaints politely
- Maintain personal grooming and hygiene standards
- Support restaurant opening and closing activities
- Follow company SOP and service standards
- Upsell menu items and promote special offers
- Maintain cleanliness in dining area
Required Skills
- Good communication skills (Tamil & Basic English)
- Positive attitude and customer handling skills
- Team player with discipline
- Basic food service knowledge
- Ability to work in rotational shifts
- Fast and active service approach
Qualification
- 10th / 12th / Diploma
- Hotel Management candidates preferred
- Freshers can also apply
Experience
- Fresher to 3 Years experience in restaurant/café/hotel service
Salary
- ₹14,000 – ₹25,000 per month
- Incentives & food can be provided based on performance
