Experience Required
1–3 Years
Qualification
- ITI Draughtsman Civil / Architectural Assistantship
- Diploma in Civil Engineering (Preferred)
- Certification in AutoCAD or relevant drafting software
Key Responsibilities
Architectural Drafting & Documentation
- Prepare architectural plans, elevations, sections, and detailed drawings.
- Develop working drawings, GFC (Good for Construction) drawings, and submission drawings.
- Modify drawings based on design revisions and client requirements.
- Ensure drawings comply with project standards and drafting conventions.
- Maintain drawing registers and document control systems.
Technical Coordination
- Coordinate with Architects and Consultants to incorporate design changes.
- Integrate Structural, MEP, Landscape, and Interior drawings into architectural documentation.
- Resolve drafting discrepancies and coordination issues.
Construction Documentation
- Prepare detailed construction drawings and execution details.
- Draft material layouts, joinery details, staircase details, toilet details, and façade drawings.
- Support preparation of tender and construction documentation.
Site Support
- Incorporate site changes and revisions into drawings.
- Assist project teams in preparing as-built drawings.
- Coordinate with site engineers and architects regarding drawing clarifications.
Quality Control
- Ensure accuracy, completeness, and consistency of drawings.
- Follow company CAD standards and drawing protocols.
- Maintain version control and document management procedures.
Must-Have Skills
Technical Skills
- Strong proficiency in AutoCAD.
- Ability to prepare architectural working drawings independently.
- Knowledge of construction detailing and drafting standards.
- Understanding of architectural plans, elevations, sections, and detailing.
- Experience preparing GFC and submission drawings.
- Knowledge of building materials and construction methods.
- Ability to read and interpret consultant drawings.
Software Skills
- AutoCAD (Mandatory)
- MS Office (Excel, Word)
Nice-to-Have Skills
Technical Skills
- Experience in Residential, Commercial, Hospitality, or Institutional projects.
- Knowledge of local building by-laws and approval drawings.
- Familiarity with BIM workflows.
- Basic understanding of BOQ and quantity estimation.
- Exposure to site execution and construction practices.
