Job Summary
The Teller / Student Counsellor is responsible for guiding prospective students through the admission process, providing accurate information about courses, fees, career opportunities, and assisting them in selecting the most suitable training program. The role also includes handling enquiries, maintaining student records, and achieving admission targets while ensuring excellent customer service.
Key ResponsibilitiesStudent Counselling
- Counsel walk-in students, phone enquiries, and online leads regarding available courses.
- Understand students' educational background, interests, and career goals.
- Recommend suitable training programs based on students' requirements.
- Explain course curriculum, duration, certification, placement assistance, and fee structure.
- Address student and parent queries professionally.
Admissions
- Convert enquiries into admissions by providing effective counselling.
- Guide students through the admission and registration process.
- Collect admission documents and verify their accuracy.
- Coordinate with the accounts department regarding fee payments.
- Ensure timely completion of admission formalities.
Lead Management
- Follow up with prospective students through calls, emails, and WhatsApp.
- Maintain daily enquiry and follow-up records.
- Update CRM or admission software with accurate student information.
- Generate daily, weekly, and monthly counselling reports.
Sales & Business Development
- Achieve monthly admission targets.
- Promote new courses and training programs.
- Participate in educational fairs, seminars, and promotional events.
- Coordinate with marketing teams to maximize lead conversions.
Student Support
- Build positive relationships with students and parents.
- Provide pre-admission and post-admission support.
- Coordinate with trainers and administration regarding student concerns.
- Ensure high levels of student satisfaction.
Administrative Responsibilities
- Maintain student records and admission files.
- Prepare daily counselling and admission reports.
- Coordinate with the administration and accounts teams.
- Ensure compliance with institute policies and procedures.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in any discipline.

Pay: ₹11,000.00 - ₹15,000.00 per month
