Freight Broker
The Freight Broker manages freight transportation across the U.S. by coordinating between shippers and carriers, negotiating rates, and ensuring timely deliveries while maintaining strong business relationships.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate shipments with shippers and carriers
- Build and manage a reliable carrier network
- Negotiate freight rates and terms
- Track shipments and resolve issues
- Communicate with customers and provide updates
- Ensure compliance with U.S. regulations
- Maintain accurate documentation and reports
Required Qualifications
- Freshers are welcome with minimum of Bachelor's degree.
- 6+ months experience in U.S. freight brokerage/logistics for experienced candidates.
- Knowledge of freight processes and regulations
- Strong communication and negotiation skills
- Ability to work night shifts in a fast-paced environment
- Familiarity with load boards, freight systems, and MS Office.
