We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Inventory & Purchase Executive to oversee stock management and handle routine purchasing activities. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining optimal inventory levels, issuing purchase orders, coordinating with vendors, and ensuring accurate stock records to support seamless daily operations.
Key Responsibilities1. Inventory & Stock Management
- Monitor and record daily stock movements (incoming materials, internal transfers, and outgoing dispatch).
- Conduct regular physical stock counts and audit physical inventory against system records to identify and resolve discrepancies.
- Maintain minimum stock levels (reorder points) to prevent stockouts or overstocking of critical materials.
- Ensure proper organization, labeling, and storage of inventory in the store/warehouse area.
2. Purchasing & Procurement
- Receive material requisitions from internal departments and raise Purchase Orders (POs).
- Coordinate with existing vendors and suppliers to obtain quotations, negotiate basic pricing, and confirm delivery timelines.
- Follow up with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of goods and resolve any delivery delays or damages.
- Verify incoming goods against POs and delivery challans for quantity and quality before taking them into stock.
3. Record Keeping & Documentation
- Maintain accurate inventory registers and log stock entries into ERP/accounting software (e.g., Tally, Excel, or internal stock software).
- Prepare GRNs (Goods Receipt Notes) and process vendor invoices for payment clearance with the accounts team.
- Generate weekly and monthly inventory usage, stock valuation, and purchase summary reports.
Requirements & Qualifications
- Education: Graduate in Commerce (B.Com), Business Administration (BBA), or a related field (10+2 with relevant experience will also be considered).
- Experience: 1–3 years of hands-on experience in store management, inventory control, or procurement.
Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹22,000.00 per month
