What will you contribute?
Reporting to the [Anil Yalagoor] , the [Senior QA Engineer] Develops and executes comprehensive product test plans to ensure software aligns with design specifications and meets defined quality standards. Takes on PAS responsibilities, involving direct customer interaction to understand issues, provide timely communication, and drive resolution in collaboration with Customer Support teams. Works closely with support executives to ensure customer concerns are addressed promptly and effectively. Collaborates with Development and QA teams to identify and implement process improvements that enhance overall product quality.
What will Candidate contribute?
This resource will be part of US-Hosted Payments group and responsible for deliverable for US hosted payment product and Dev support to P2G team.
Responsibilities & Deliverables:
Your deliverables as a [Senior QA Engineer] will include, but are not limited to, the following:
Takes on PAS responsibilities
Create test cases from product specifications.
Executes test plans and test cases and compiles results.
Knowledge of Release Deployments of Components on Windows based environments.
Should have knowledge of Configurations like understanding INI / CFG files
Sets up and maintains personal testing environments. May set up team testing environments.
Assist in the review of software development processes to improve product quality.
Tracks defects from detection to resolution and works with developers to reproduce and resolve defects.
Communicates with stakeholders on product issues.
Acquires and maintains knowledge of existing products, operations or systems.
Reviews product documentation to ensure completeness and accuracy.
Provides support to stakeholders prior to GA release of software.
Knowledge of DB scripts like SQL Queries / DB Scripts is preferable
Design, develop, automate and maintain test scripts.
Provide testing effort estimates for enhancements.
Documentation Creating Knowledge base for future use.
Required Experience:
5+ years of experience in software testing or related field
Knowledge of the Agile software development methodology is must
Should perform Manual Testing with UI Usage and Should be quick learner to adapt to existing Payment Products
Experience in the Payments domain is must. Knowledge of Payments/SWIFT/Fed/MT/MX/ACH messages is must
Should have knowledge of Payments ISO Messages, MT Messages.
Experience in Payment Life Cycle Stages, Compliance, FX Payments, Remote Accounting
Experience of working in US Payments Products is great to have
Knowledge on performance testing and related performance tools is good to have
Effective verbal and written communication skills
Ability to work independently or within a team environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
Knowledge of quality assurance methods and techniques including the software development lifecycle.
Effective analytical and problem-solving skills and ability to think ‘out of the box’ for process improvements.
Ability to execute test plans and test scripts for commercial software applications, document expected results vs. actual results, and record software defects.
Knowledge of automated testing software tools with ability to design and develop automated testing programs.
Knowledge of C++, DLL's, Windows OS Components, Web services (REST and SOAP), Selenium, Postman, SOAP UI is preferable
Experience with testing Micro services, Rest API’s is good to have
