Job Description
We are looking for a creative and experienced Freelance Ethnic Wear Designer to design and develop women's kurtis. The ideal candidate should have a good understanding of current fashion trends, garment construction, fabric utilization, and sample development.
Responsibilities:
- Create original kurti designs and design concepts.
- Prepare sketches, design sheets, and specifications for production.
- Develop patterns and measurements as required.
- Coordinate and oversee sample stitching and fitting.
- Suggest design details, trims, prints, embroidery, and styling elements.
- Ensure designs are practical for manufacturing and cost-effective.
- Work closely with our team to develop new collections and product ranges.
Requirements:
- Experience in ethnic wear, kurti, or women's apparel design.
- Knowledge of garment construction, patterns, and fit.
- Ability to create technical specifications and design presentations.
- Understanding of textile fabrics and production processes.
- Strong creativity and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently on a freelance basis and meet deadlines.
