Competencies and Must have
- Hands-on experience with designing SMPS topologies such as Buck, Boost, Flyback, Half-Bridge, and Full-Bridge converters.
- Experience with designing SMPS, Linear, and Capacitive Power Supplies, including thermal design considerations.
- Hands-on experience with designing Inverter single phase and three phase with PF correction and THD management.
- Expertise in magnetics design, including transformers, chokes, and common-mode chokes with EMI/EMC considerations.
- Strong knowledge of electronic components and component selection Hands-on experience in analog and digital circuit design.
- Experience in reviewing circuit simulations, schematics, PCB layouts, and test reports
- Strong understanding of EMI/EMC compliance requirements
- Experience with Design FMEA and MTBF calculations.
- ARM based processor, specially STM32 MCUs, simulation and firmware development.
- Basic understanding of embedded firmware and software
- Experience in project planning, effort estimation, and cost estimation.
- Must have completed at least 2 long term projects in Power Electronics and 3 short term projects from scratch to production.
What you'll bring
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electronics, Electrical, or Electronics & Communication Engineering
- 3 to 8 years of experience in electronics hardware design and product development especially in power electronics.
- Strong foundation in analog and digital circuit design
- Hands-on schematic capture and PCB design experience with Altium Designer or Cadence
- At least one product taken from prototype through validation into manufacturing
- Strong debugging skills with oscilloscopes, logic analysers, function generators, spectrum analysers, and power supplies
- Experience with embedded hardware and common interfaces: SPI, I²C, UART, CAN, USB, Ethernet, JTAG, or SDIO
- Solid understanding of PCB stack-up, signal integrity, thermal design, EMI/EMC, DFM, and DFT
- Power supply design experience: buck, boost, LDO, Flyback, or other DC-DC topologies
Nice to have
- ARM-based processors, PMICs, or high-speed memory interfaces (DDR/LPDDR)
- Wireless technologies: Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, LTE, GNSS, or RF systems
- MATLAB, Python, or LabVIEW for validation and test automation
- EMI/EMC compliance standards (FCC, CE, UL)
- Background in robotics, consumer electronics, automotive/EV, IoT, energy, or medical devices
- Rigid-flex or flexible PCB design
