Roles & Responsibilities:
- Expected to be an SME, collaborate and manage the team to perform.
- Responsible for team decisions.
- Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions.
- Provide solutions to problems for their immediate team and across multiple teams.
- Lead efforts to identify and resolve technical challenges that impact project delivery and team productivity.
- Foster a collaborative environment that encourages knowledge sharing and continuous improvement among team members.
- Support junior team members by providing guidance and facilitating their professional growth.
Professional & Technical Skills:
- Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Scala, Spark, Scala tests, AWS services (Step functions, CloudFormation,S3, KMS, Glue, EKS, IAM,SQS/SNS)
- Shell scripting, AI Integration, Python , Iceberg, Mongo DB, Kubernetes , GitHub/ Teamcity (Good to have skills)
- Strong experience in functional programming concepts and their application in software development.
- Ability to design scalable and maintainable codebases using Scala.
- Familiarity with integrating Scala applications with various data sources and APIs.
- Experience in debugging, testing, and optimizing Scala applications for performance and reliability.
- Knowledge of concurrent and parallel programming paradigms within the Scala ecosystem.
Additional Information:
- The candidate should have minimum 5 years of experience in Scala.
- This position is based at our Pune office.
