Key Responsibilities
Cost & Quantity Management
- Prepare detailed BOQs, quantity take-offs for residential civil works
- Review drawings, specifications, and scope to identify cost implications
- Prepare project budgets and monitor costs throughout the project lifecycle
Billing & Contracts
- Verify contractor and subcontractor RA bills and final bills
- Prepare client billing and variation orders
- Track extra items, deviations, and change orders with proper documentation
- Assist in contract administration and claims management
Project Coordination
- Coordinate with site engineers, planning team, procurement, and contractors
- Attend site meetings to monitor progress and resolve quantity/cost issues
- Ensure measurements are as per drawings and site execution
Cost Control & Reporting
- Monitor material consumption and wastage
- Prepare cost reports, cash flow statements, and budget vs actual analysis
- Identify cost-saving opportunities without compromising quality
Compliance & Documentation
- Ensure compliance with contract conditions and company policies
- Maintain proper records of measurements, bills, and approvals
- Support audits and project close-out documentation
Skills & Qualifications
Educational Qualification
- B.E./B.Tech in Civil Engineering or Diploma in Civil Engineering
Technical Skills
- Strong knowledge of residential civil construction methods
- Proficiency in MS Excel, AutoCAD, and billing software (e.g., Candy, Primavera, ERP – if applicable)
- Good understanding of rates, specifications, and IS codes
Preferred Experience
- Experience in high-rise residential, villas, or township projects
Exposure to both site and office-based quantity surveying
Pay: ₹13,541.39 - ₹35,000.00 per month
Work Location: Hybrid remote in Anna Nagar, Chennai, Tamil Nadu
