Job Summary
We are seeking a compassionate, skilled, and detail-oriented IVF Staff Nurse to support patients throughout the fertility treatment journey. The nurse will be responsible for patient care, medication administration, procedure assistance, monitoring, documentation, and coordination with the IVF clinical team while maintaining strict standards of safety, infection control, and patient confidentiality.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients undergoing IVF and other fertility treatments.
- Assist doctors during IVF-related procedures, including ovum pickup (OPU), embryo transfer, and other minor procedures.
- Prepare patients for procedures and provide appropriate pre- and post-procedure care.
- Administer medications, injections, and hormonal treatments as prescribed.
- Explain medication schedules, injection techniques, investigations, and treatment instructions to patients.
- Monitor patients for adverse reactions, complications, and changes in clinical condition.
- Coordinate blood tests, ultrasound appointments, and other investigations as required.
- Maintain accurate patient records, treatment charts, medication records, and nursing documentation.
- Maintain proper handling, labeling, and transfer of patient samples as per clinic protocols.
- Coordinate effectively with IVF consultants, embryologists, nursing staff, laboratory personnel, and front-office teams.
- Provide emotional support and reassurance to patients and couples undergoing fertility treatment.
- Maintain strict confidentiality of patient information.
- Follow infection-control, biomedical-waste-management, and patient-safety protocols.
- Ensure availability and proper maintenance of emergency drugs, equipment, and consumables.
- Educate patients regarding post-procedure precautions, medications, and follow-up appointments.
- Participate in maintaining a clean, organized, and patient-friendly IVF unit.
Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
