Position Overview
We are looking for an experienced and proactive HR Manager to oversee and manage all aspects of Human Resources operations at Medsurge India. The ideal candidate should have strong experience in recruitment, employee engagement, HR operations, compliance, performance management, and team coordination, preferably in healthcare, medical tourism, BPO, or service industries.
The HR Manager will play a key role in building a high-performance culture, improving employee retention, streamlining HR processes, and supporting rapid organizational growth.
Key Responsibilities1. Recruitment & Talent Acquisition
- Handle end-to-end recruitment for all departments including:
- Clinical Case Managers
- Operations Team
- Digital Marketing Team
- Sales & Business Development
- International Language Executives
- HR & Admin
- Coordinate interviews and hiring processes with department heads.
- Source candidates through job portals, LinkedIn, references, and recruitment partners.
- Maintain recruitment trackers and hiring reports.
- Ensure timely onboarding and induction of employees.
2. Employee Management & Engagement
- Build positive employee relations and maintain healthy workplace culture.
- Conduct employee engagement activities, motivational programs, and team-building initiatives.
- Address employee concerns and grievances professionally.
- Monitor attendance, punctuality, leaves, and discipline.
- Conduct regular feedback and one-on-one discussions with employees.
3. Performance Management
- Coordinate with management for KRAs, KPIs, and performance evaluation systems.
- Conduct quarterly and annual performance reviews.
- Track employee productivity and departmental performance.
- Assist managers in implementing performance improvement plans where required.
4. HR Operations & Compliance
- Maintain employee records, documentation, and HR databases.
- Handle offer letters, appointment letters, warning letters, and exit formalities.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and labor laws.
- Manage leave policies, attendance systems, and HR MIS reports.
- Coordinate payroll inputs with accounts/finance team.
5. Training & Development
- Identify training requirements across teams.
- Organize internal and external training sessions.
- Support continuous learning and employee skill enhancement.
- Conduct onboarding and orientation programs for new hires.
6. Policy Implementation
- Develop and implement HR policies and SOPs.
- Ensure employees are aligned with organizational processes and expectations.
- Create HR structures supporting scalability and growth.
7. Retention & Organizational Growth
- Develop strategies for employee retention and career growth.
- Improve workplace culture and employee satisfaction.
- Support leadership in organizational planning and expansion.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
- 4–8 years of HR experience.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Experience in healthcare, medical tourism, BPO, hospitality, or service industry preferred.
- Strong understanding of recruitment and employee management.
- Knowledge of HR software, payroll coordination, and compliance.
- Ability to handle confidential information professionally.
- Strong leadership and problem-solving abilities.
