Job description:
Key Responsibilities
- Curriculum Delivery: Teach chemistry to senior secondary students (grades 11-12) according to the CBSE/ICSE/IGCSE syllabus.
- Laboratory Management: Plan, conduct, and supervise practical laboratory sessions, ensuring compliance with safety standards.
- Assessment & Evaluation: Prepare question papers, grade assignments, conduct tests, and track student progress.
- Academic Planning: Develop lesson plans and teaching materials to improve learning outcomes.
- Mentorship: Guide students for board examinations and entrance tests like JEE/NEET.
- Collaboration: Participate in parent-teacher meetings (PTMs) and collaborate with colleagues on academic initiatives.
- Required Qualifications & Skills
- Education: Post Graduate in Chemistry (M.Sc.) and a Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.).
- Experience: 2–10 years of experience teaching senior secondary students in CBSE schools is typically required.
- Competencies: Strong subject knowledge, excellent communication skills (English fluency), and familiarity with classroom technology.
