What You'll Do
As an experienced Preschool Teacher, you'll play an important role in creating meaningful learning experiences for our little learners by:
- Planning and delivering engaging, age-appropriate lessons aligned with the preschool curriculum.
- Preparing creative weekly lesson plans that support children's language, cognitive, social, emotional, and physical development.
- Conducting exciting Circle Time, Story Time, Theme Time, Music & Movement, Art & Craft, and hands-on learning experiences.
- Creating a warm, safe, and joyful classroom where every child feels confident to explore and learn.
- Observing children's development, celebrating milestones, and maintaining learning records.
- Preparing teaching aids, classroom displays, and engaging learning materials.
- Managing daily classroom routines using positive guidance and age-appropriate classroom management strategies.
- Working collaboratively with fellow teachers and school leadership to deliver a high-quality preschool programme.
- Building positive relationships with parents through professional communication regarding children's progress.
- Ensuring every child's safety, happiness, and emotional well-being throughout the school day.
Who We're Looking For
We're looking for someone who has:
- Previous experience teaching in a Preschool, Kindergarten, Montessori, or Early Childhood Education setting.
- Hands-on experience in lesson planning and preschool curriculum delivery (Essential).
- Excellent classroom management skills.
- Strong spoken English and effective communication skills.
- Patience, warmth, creativity, and a genuine love for working with young children.
- A positive attitude, enthusiasm, and the ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
Preferred Qualifications
Candidates with any of the following will be given preference:
- Nursery Teacher Training (NTT)
- Montessori Teacher Training Certification
- Diploma in Early Childhood Care and Education (ECCE)
- Diploma in Preschool Education
- B.Ed. (Early Childhood or Elementary Education preferred)
- Bachelor's Degree in Education or a related field
