Job Summary:
We are looking for a proactive Junior Merchandiser to support our merchandising team in managing buyer orders, coordinating with production, and ensuring timely delivery of textile products.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in end-to-end order management — from sampling to shipment
- Coordinate with buyers, suppliers, and internal production/QA teams
- Follow up on order status, fabric sourcing, and production timelines
- Prepare and maintain TNA (Time & Action) calendars
- Support in costing, quotations, and buyer communication
- Track sample development and approvals (lab dips, strike-offs, fit samples)
- Maintain order files, documentation, and shipment records
- Coordinate with logistics for on-time dispatch and shipment compliance
- Assist senior merchandisers in vendor negotiations and follow-ups
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree/diploma in Textiles, Fashion, or related field
- Basic knowledge of textile processes, fabrics, and home furnishing products
- Good communication and coordination skills
- Proficiency in MS Excel, Word, Outlook
- Willingness to learn and multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Prior internship/experience in textile export house (preferred)
