Key Responsibility
- Costing & Estimation
- Prepare cost estimates for new jobs and ongoing projects.
- Monitor project budgets and track expenses to ensure financial efficiency.
- Provide detailed reports on cost variances and recommend corrective actions.
- Scheduling & Planning
- Develop and maintain project schedules, ensuring timely completion of tasks.
- Coordinate with stakeholders to align timelines and deliverables.
- Optimise workforce allocation to maximise productivity.
- Site Coordination
- Arrange all site requirements including manpower, equipment, and services.
- Ensure availability of necessary tools, machinery, and materials.
- Supervise site activities to maintain workflow and resolve issues promptly.
- Resource Management
- Assign tasks to workers and monitor performance.
- Ensure compliance with safety standards and company policies.
- Manage subcontractors and vendors to ensure quality and timely delivery.
- Documentation & Reporting
- Maintain accurate records of project progress, costs, and resource utilisation.
- Prepare daily/weekly reports for management review.
- Document site issues and propose solutions.
- Communication & Liaison
- Act as a bridge between management, clients, and site teams.
- Coordinate with suppliers, contractors, and service providers.
- Handle client queries and provide updates on project status.
Qualifications & Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.
- Proven experience in project coordination or site management.
- Strong knowledge of costing, estimation, and scheduling tools.
- Excellent organisational and multitasking abilities.
- Strong communication and negotiation skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office and project management software.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
