The Academic & Admission Counselor will be responsible for student follow-up, calling, and placement support activities. The role focuses on preparing students for job opportunities and actively coordinating placement drives.
Job Description:
- Call and follow up with students regarding placement opportunities
- Inform students about job openings, interview schedules, and requirements
- Ensure students attend interviews, assessments, and placement drives
- Track student progress, status, and placement readiness
- Maintain and update student database and call records
- Coordinate with trainers to identify placement-ready candidates
- Assist students with resume preparation and interview readiness
- Support in conducting mock interviews and assessments
- Handle student queries and provide guidance related to placements
- Motivate students to actively participate in placement activities
- Schedule and coordinate interviews between students and companies
- Track interview results and maintain placement reports
- Prepare daily and weekly placement activity reports
- Ensure high student engagement and response rate
Required Skills
- Good communication skills (English & Malayalam preferred)
- Strong follow-up and coordination ability
- Basic knowledge of IT courses (Python, Flutter, Odoo preferred)
- Ability to manage multiple students and tasks
- Problem-solving and student handling skills
Preferred
- Experience in tele-calling / placement coordination / training institutes
- Freshers with strong communication skills can also apply
