Position Summary
We are seeking an experienced and responsible Packaging Supervisor to oversee day-to-day packaging operations in an FMCG manufacturing environment. The candidate will be responsible for ensuring smooth packaging activities, manpower handling, quality compliance, production targets, and adherence to safety and hygiene standards.
Key ResponsibilitiesPackaging Operations
- Supervise daily packaging activities to ensure smooth and efficient operations.
- Ensure packaging is completed as per production plans and timelines.
- Monitor packaging quality, labeling, sealing, coding, and product appearance.
- Minimize packaging losses and wastage.
Team Management
- Handle and supervise packaging line operators and contract workers.
- Allocate manpower effectively based on production requirements.
- Train workers on SOPs, hygiene, safety, and packaging standards.
- Maintain discipline and productivity on the shop floor.
Quality & Compliance
- Ensure compliance with GMP, hygiene, and food safety standards.
- Coordinate with QA/QC teams for packaging quality checks.
- Ensure proper documentation and batch records are maintained.
- Monitor adherence to SOPs and company policies.
Machine & Process Monitoring
- Coordinate with maintenance teams for machine breakdowns and preventive maintenance.
- Ensure proper utilization of packaging machines and materials.
- Monitor line efficiency and productivity.
Inventory & Material Control
- Monitor availability of packaging materials.
- Coordinate with stores and procurement for timely material availability.
- Maintain packaging material usage records and control wastage.
Required Skills & Technical Knowledge
- Knowledge of FMCG packaging operations
- Understanding of packaging materials and labeling standards
- Knowledge of GMP, hygiene, and food safety practices
- Basic computer knowledge and report preparation
- Ability to manage manpower and production targets
- Problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
Eligibility Criteria
- Graduate / Diploma in Packaging, Production, Mechanical, or related field.
- 3–6 years of experience in FMCG / Food Manufacturing packaging operations.
- Experience in handling packaging lines and manpower supervision preferred.

Pay: ₹8,879.40 - ₹35,000.00 per month
