Role details
Process design and development
- Design and define end-to-end manufacturing processes for all products through standard operating procedures
- Define and validate realistic cycle times for processes to ensure smooth flow and minimise bottlenecks
- Design line layouts and workstation configurations for optimal flow, ergonomics, and productivity
New product industrialisation
- Work with R&D to convert new product designs into manufacturable products
- Identify machinery, tooling, jigs, and fixtures required for production
- Validate process feasibility, stability, and repeatability during trials
- Ensure smooth transition from development to mass production
Process improvement
- Drive kaizen, 5S, and lean manufacturing initiatives on shopfloor
- Improve production processes to reduce cycle time and increase output
- Drive reduction in rejection, rework, and operational costs
Tool, jig, and fixture development
- Design and improve tools, jigs, and fixtures used in production to reduce cycle time and increase output
Documentation and process control
- Maintain process documentation, drawings, and technical records
- Ensure updated process records are available for production teams
- Support audits and compliance requirements with proper documentation
MIS
- Prepare and circulate reports as per requirements
Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
Education:
Experience:
- Quality assurance: 2 years (Preferred)
