Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced and motivated Production Supervisor to oversee daily manufacturing operations and ensure production targets are achieved safely, efficiently, and with high quality. The ideal candidate will supervise production staff, optimize machine utilization, maintain quality standards, and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise daily production activities to achieve production targets.
- Ensure maximum utilization of manpower, machines, and materials.
- Plan production schedules and coordinate with planning and stores departments.
- Monitor production performance and prepare daily production reports.
- Ensure compliance with quality standards, SOPs, and ISO requirements.
- Conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective and preventive actions.
- Drive continuous improvement through Lean Manufacturing, Kaizen, 5S, TPM, OEE, and waste reduction initiatives.
- Coordinate preventive maintenance and minimize machine downtime.
- Maintain production documentation, process records, and work instructions.
- Ensure proper inventory control of raw materials, packaging materials, and finished goods.
- Monitor safety practices and ensure compliance with company health and safety policies.
- Train, mentor, and evaluate production operators and technicians.
- Resolve production issues and coordinate with maintenance, quality, stores, and other departments.
- Support implementation of FMEA, Control Plans, PPAP, and process improvements.
- Manage shift operations and provide support during emergencies or breakdowns.
Required Qualifications
- Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical, Production, Industrial, Electrical, or Manufacturing Engineering.
- 0-1 years of experience in a manufacturing or production environment.
- Experience supervising production teams.
- Knowledge of production planning, inventory control, and manufacturing processes.
- Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing, TPM, Kaizen, 5S, OEE, Six Sigma, and JIT.
- Good leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and production reporting.
