Job Summary
We are looking for a skilled Electrical Engineer to join our Production Design team. The ideal candidate should have experience in electrical panel design, PLC programming, manufacturing documentation, and panel testing. This role requires close coordination with production teams to ensure quality, timely execution, and efficient manufacturing support.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and review electrical panel design documents, including Single Line Diagrams (SLD), General Arrangement (GA) drawings, logic diagrams, and manufacturing drawings.
- Develop and maintain manufacturing documents such as Factory Acceptance Test (FAT) reports, Quality Assurance Plans (QAP), and inspection checklists.
- Perform PLC programming and ensure control logic meets functional requirements.
- Support inspection, testing, validation, and FAT activities for electrical panels.
- Troubleshoot electrical panels and provide technical support during manufacturing.
- Coordinate with production and shop-floor teams for smooth execution of projects.
- Ensure compliance with quality standards, safety practices, and project timelines.
- Contribute to continuous improvement in design processes and manufacturing efficiency.
Required Skills
- Strong knowledge of electrical panel design and industrial electrical systems.
- Hands-on experience in PLC programming and ladder logic.
- Understanding of electrical panel manufacturing, testing, and inspection methodologies.
- Knowledge of control panel architecture and wiring standards.
- High-tension electrical experience will be an added advantage.
- Good analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
Preferred Experience
- 3–5 years of experience in Electrical Design, Panel Engineering, or a similar role.
- Experience in industrial automation or control panel manufacturing is preferred.
