THE ROLE
--------
We are hiring a Purchase Engineer / Assistant Manager to own the end-to-end procurement cycle for engineering components, MRO, and imported items.
You will be the primary buyer for technical and custom-manufactured components reading drawings, writing RFQs, comparing quotes, negotiating with vendors, and ensuring materials arrive on time and within budget.
You report directly to the CEO (current) / Purchase Manager (once hired) and have clear scope to grow into the Purchase Manager role within 18-24 months.

- Maintain and grow the Approved Vendor List (AVL) across 5 categories
- Conduct quarterly vendor performance scoring on delivery, quality, and price

- Manage import documents: Commercial Invoice, Packing List, BL, COO, Test Certs
- Monitor forex impact and coordinate payment timing with Finance
>> Process & Reporting
- Ensure 100% SOP compliance — no PO without an approved PR, no verbal quotes
- Maintain PO tracker and issue weekly procurement status report
- Prepare monthly KPI dashboard: savings, OTD, rejection rate, cycle time
- Participate in daily procurement huddle and weekly team review
