Job Summary
Cevex Events and Hospitality Pvt Ltd is seeking an experienced and highly organized Event Production Head to lead and manage the complete production operations for both corporate events and wedding projects. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in event production planning, execution, team management, vendor coordination, and client handling. The candidate should be capable of ensuring smooth execution of projects while maintaining quality standards, timelines, and budgets.
Key Responsibilities
Production Planning & Execution
- Lead end-to-end event production activities for corporate events, weddings, exhibitions, conferences, and special events.
- Develop detailed production plans, schedules, timelines, and execution strategies.
- Manage pre-event, on-site, and post-event production activities.
- Ensure all event deliverables are executed as per approved concepts and client expectations.
- Handle stage setups, fabrication works, décor arrangements, lighting, sound, LED, AV, technical setup, branding, and event logistics.
Team Management
- Lead and supervise production teams, site teams, coordinators, and support staff.
- Assign roles and responsibilities to team members and monitor performance.
- Conduct regular meetings and coordinate with internal departments for smooth execution.
Vendor & Resource Management
- Identify, negotiate, and maintain relationships with vendors and suppliers.
- Coordinate with fabrication teams, technical vendors, logistics providers, and other event partners.
- Monitor quality, timelines, and cost effectiveness of vendor deliverables.
- Ensure materials and resources are available on-site as required.
Client Coordination
- Attend client meetings whenever required.
- Understand client requirements and convert concepts into practical execution plans.
- Present production feasibility and execution approaches to clients.
- Ensure client satisfaction throughout the event lifecycle.
Budget & Cost Control
- Prepare and manage production budgets.
- Monitor project costs and control expenses without affecting quality.
- Ensure efficient utilization of manpower, materials, and resources.
Operations & Site Management
- Conduct venue inspections and site visits.
- Oversee on-site installation and dismantling activities.
- Handle event troubleshooting and crisis management during execution.
- Ensure all safety protocols and operational standards are followed.
Reporting & Documentation
- Prepare production reports and maintain event documentation.
- Submit project updates and status reports to management.
- Maintain records of vendors, quotations, budgets, and production checklists.
Candidate Requirements
- Minimum 7+ years of experience in Event Production handling both Corporate and Wedding events.
- Strong knowledge of event production processes and technical event requirements.
- Excellent leadership and team management skills.
- Strong communication, negotiation, and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Ready to travel as per project requirements.
- Ready to attend client meetings whenever required.
- Comfortable working night shifts and extended working hours during event execution.
- Immediate joiners will be preferred.
