Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced GCP Data Engineer with strong expertise in Google Cloud Platform (GCP) and BigQuery. The candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining scalable data pipelines, data warehouses, and analytics solutions on GCP.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop scalable ETL/ELT data pipelines on GCP.
- Build and optimize data models and data warehouses using BigQuery.
- Develop data ingestion frameworks using Dataflow, Dataproc, and Cloud Storage.
- Write complex SQL queries and optimize BigQuery performance.
- Work with large-scale structured and unstructured datasets.
- Implement data quality, governance, and monitoring processes.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders, analysts, and engineering teams to deliver data solutions.
- Troubleshoot and resolve data pipeline and performance issues.
Required Skills
- Strong experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
- Hands-on experience with BigQuery.
- Proficiency in SQL and Python.
- Experience with Dataflow, Dataproc, Cloud Composer (Airflow), and Pub/Sub.
- Knowledge of data warehousing concepts and ETL/ELT processes.
- Experience working with large-scale data processing frameworks.
- Good understanding of performance tuning and query optimization.
Preferred Skills
- Experience with PySpark/Spark.
- Exposure to CI/CD and DevOps practices.
- Knowledge of data modeling and dimensional modeling.
- GCP certifications are a plus.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
- 5+ years of experience in Data Engineering with strong GCP expertise.
Must Have: GCP, BigQuery, SQL, Python, Dataflow/Dataproc.
Pay: ₹1,500,000.00 - ₹2,200,000.00 per year
Work Location: Hybrid remote in Bengaluru, Karnataka (Bengaluru, Bengaluru Rural District)
