Job Summary
Looking for a QC Engineer to handle incoming material inspection including raw materials, bought-out items, and machined components in a fabrication company.
Responsibilities
- Inspect incoming materials (plates, pipes, fittings, fasteners, etc.)
- Check bought-out items as per specifications
- Inspect machined components (dimensions, visual checks)
- Verify documents like MTC, test certificates, and PO requirements
- Coordinate with Stores and Purchase for inspection clearance
- Maintain inspection records and reports
Requirements
- Diploma / BE in Mechanical Engineering
- 2–3 years experience in QC / Incoming Inspection
- Knowledge of material identification (MS, SS, alloys)
- Basic knowledge of measuring instruments
- Basic computer knowledge (Excel)
