Role & Responsibilities
Ø Manage day-to-day accounting operations, including journal entries, ledger management, and bookkeeping.
Ø Handle vendor payments, customer receipts, petty cash, and bank reconciliations.
Ø Prepare and review invoices, payment vouchers, and expense reports.
Ø Ensure timely closing of monthly, quarterly, and annual books of accounts.
Ø Assist in preparation of financial statements, MIS reports, cash flow statements, and budgets.
Ø Manage GST filings, TDS calculations, returns filing, and other statutory compliances.
Ø Coordinate with auditors for internal, external, and statutory audits.
Ø Support reconciliation processes between internal accounts and external partners (banks, vendors, customers).
Ø Monitor accounts receivable and payable and manage follow-ups for collections and payments.
Ø Maintain accurate and organized financial documentation and records.
Ø Assist in financial analysis and data compilation for management decision-making.
Requirements
· Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Accounting, Finance, or related field (M.Com/ MBA Finance/ CA Inter preferred).
· 4+ years of experience in core accounting and finance functions.
· Solid understanding of accounting principles (Indian GAAP) and financial regulations.
· Proficiency in accounting software (Tally ERP, Zoho Books, QuickBooks, or similar).
· Strong working knowledge of MS Excel (pivot tables, formulas, reconciliations).
· Experience in GST, TDS, and other tax-related compliances.
· Attention to detail with excellent organizational and analytical skills.
· Ability to prioritize tasks, meet deadlines, and work independently.
· Good communication skills to coordinate with internal and external stakeholders.
