Job Summary
The Billing Engineer will be responsible for preparing, verifying, and processing contractor and subcontractor bills, ensuring accurate quantity measurements, certification of work completed, and coordination with project, contracts, and finance teams for timely payments and cost control.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and verify RA Bills (Running Account Bills), final bills, and subcontractor bills based on executed work at site.
- Measure quantities as per drawings, BOQs, and actual site execution.
- Coordinate with site engineers, contractors, consultants, and project teams for bill certification and approvals.
- Reconcile quantities and maintain records of work completed against contract quantities.
- Prepare variation statements, extra item calculations, and deviation reports.
- Monitor project costs and ensure billing compliance with contractual terms and conditions.
- Assist in budget tracking, cost analysis, and preparation of MIS reports.
- Maintain billing documentation, measurement sheets, work orders, and payment records.
- Support internal and external audits related to project billing and contracts.
Key Skills Required
- Strong knowledge of Quantity Surveying, BOQ, and Rate Analysis.
- Experience in contractor billing, subcontractor billing, and bill certification.
- Knowledge of construction drawings and measurement standards.
- Proficiency in MS Excel, AutoCAD, and ERP systems (SAP/Oracle preferred).
- Good analytical, documentation, and coordination skills.
- Understanding of real estate and high-rise residential/commercial projects.
Preferred Experience
- Experience in residential, commercial, township, or mixed-use real estate projects.
- Familiarity with contract management, project costing, and budgeting processes.

- Timely processing and certification of bills.
- Accuracy in quantity measurements and billing records.
- Effective cost control and variance management.
- Compliance with contractual and financial procedures.
- Proper maintenance of billing documentation and reports.
