Business Development Manager
8848 Digital LLP provides clients with high-quality ERPNext implementations, application customizations, management consulting, and technical infrastructure services. We deliver enterprise resource planning (ERP) solutions to mid-market companies worldwide, along with custom web and mobile solutions that help organizations accelerate their digital transformation.
We are looking for an experienced and result-driven Business Development Manager to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for driving strategic business growth, identifying new market opportunities, generating qualified leads, and building strong client relationships to expand our business footprint.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Develop and execute strategic sales plans to achieve revenue and growth targets.
- Identify, qualify, and pursue new business opportunities through market research, networking, and lead generation.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective clients.
- Generate new leads through outbound efforts, referrals, partnerships, and networking events.
- Conduct client meetings, presentations, and product/service demonstrations to drive conversions.
- Collaborate with internal teams to develop tailored solutions that meet client requirements.
- Prepare and manage proposals, negotiations, and closure of business deals.
- Maintain and update CRM, sales pipeline, and business development documentation.
- Work closely with management to define and achieve sales goals and growth strategies.
- Support marketing and promotional initiatives to strengthen brand presence and generate opportunities.
- Monitor industry trends, competitor activities, and market developments to identify growth opportunities.
Qualifications and Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Finance, or a related field.
- Minimum 2+ years of experience in Software/IT Sales, Business Development, ERP Sales, or a similar role.
- Experience in lead generation, client acquisition, and revenue generation.
- Knowledge or exposure to CRM/ERP solutions is preferred.
- Proven experience in managing sales pipelines and meeting business targets.
- Strong negotiation, presentation, and consultative selling skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong organizational and time management abilities.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and work effectively under pressure.
- Strong customer relationship management and stakeholder handling skills.
- Ability to sell value, build credibility, and maintain professionalism and confidentiality.
- Self-motivated, enthusiastic, and able to work collaboratively in a team environment.
