Software Engineer – Connected Car Platform About the Role
Join the Connected Car Platform team at MBRDI and contribute to building cloud-native services that power Connected Car functions for millions of Mercedes-Benz customers worldwide. You will work in a global, cross-functional environment to design, develop, deploy, and operate scalable, resilient, and secure software solutions.
Key Responsibilities

Design, develop, test, deploy, and maintain cloud-native applications and microservices.

Own the end-to-end software lifecycle from development to production operations.

Build scalable and reliable solutions using modern cloud technologies and DevOps practices.

Collaborate with global stakeholders, architects, and product teams.

Drive technical excellence through code reviews, automation, testing, and CI/CD practices.

Troubleshoot production issues and contribute to operational excellence.

Participate in architecture discussions and technology adoption initiatives.
Required Qualifications

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Electronics, or related disciplines.

3–6 years of experience in software development and cloud-native application engineering.

Strong programming skills in Java, Kotlin, or GoLang.

Experience with microservices architecture, distributed systems, and REST APIs.

Strong understanding of Agile development methodologies.
Technical Skills
Cloud & Platform: Azure, AKS, Azure DevOps, Key Vault, ACR, PostgreSQL, Redis, Event Hub, API Management.
Container & DevOps: Kubernetes, Docker, CI/CD, Infrastructure Automation, Monitoring & Observability.
Development: Java, Kotlin, GoLang, Microservices, Event-Driven Architecture.
Preferred Skills

Experience in Connected Vehicle, IoT, Automotive, or Mobility domains.

Exposure to SRE practices and cloud security.
