Job SummaryThe Executive is responsible for managing activities after vessel chartering, shipping operations, and ensuring efficient execution of cargo transportation. The role involves liaising with Freight Forwarders, vessel owners, suppliers and internal stakeholders to ensure smooth end-to-end logistics
.Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate vessel movements from loading to discharge ports.
- Ensure compliance with agreed laycan schedules and contractual obligations.
- Monitor voyage progress, including ETA updates, delays, and deviations.
- Monitor compliance with CP clauses throughout the voyage.
- Coordinate with vessel agents, suppliers, and insurance surveyors for smooth cargo operations.
- Closely monitor the loading and discharge operations to ensure efficiency and minimize delays.
- Ensure all documentation (Measurement survey report, Mate receipts, Bill of Lading, NOR, Shipping documents,Insurance certificate, etc.) is accurate and timely.
- Act as the point of contact between forwarders, suppliers and internal teams.
- Provide regular updates to management regarding shipment status.
- Resolve operational issues, disputes, and claims in coordination with relevant parties.
- Ensure compliance with maritime regulations, safety standards, and company policies.
- Identify operational risks and implement mitigation strategies.
- Maintain proper records of all documents , communications, and voyage details.
- Ensure operations are conducted safely and within agreed timelines.
- Address operational issues such as delays, shortages, or damages.
- Coordination for timely payment of Invoice of Freight Forwarders and destination charges.
- MIS report preparation and timely reporting to the management.

Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Commerce or Science or relevant field .
- Relevant experience in vessel chartering , shipping operations, or maritime logistics (typically 5+ years' experience).
