Job Description:
The Ecommerce and Product Manager is responsible for managing and optimizing the product portfolio for brand.com to ensure achievement of sales targets. This role involves strategic planning, market research, and coordination with various teams to ensure the successful representation and growth of products in the channel.
Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities:
1. Ecommerce Portfolio Management
- Aligning and Curating Product Offerings relevant to the online audience:
- Develop and drive a strategy for product selection, ensuring appropriate category, collection, price band, and cluster-wise representation to drive sales growth.
- Conduct market research, connect with consumers, analyze online search patterns, and align with brand product and marketing calendar to plan the range and portfolio.
- Track share of sale, align photo shoots and product listings, and optimize product representation on websites and marketplaces for brand discovery.
- Drive listing efficiency per price band and promote product gifting, look-wise mapping, and occasion-wise buying.
- Release quarterly briefs, manage reorders and product selection, and incorporate customer reviews and feedback.
2. Strengthening processes for Growth & Efficiency:
- Plan and manage inventory, stock, depth, and listing efficiency to drive sales growth.
- Optimize stock movements, replenishments based on sales, and tailor listings with suitable sequencing and return analysis.
- Drive process adoption, Q-wise norms, reorder process, stock allocation, and movement process.
- Identify bestsellers and variations monthly to build depth and ensure efficient catalog management.
3. Catalog Management and Process Optimization:
- Manage end-to-end product management processes for Taneira.com and marketplaces, including studio dispatch, enrichment, stock movement, cataloguing, sequencing, and descriptions for SEO.
- Align products for shoot, coordinate with category, dispatch, pick-up, and quality control teams to ensure timely product availability for photo shoots.
- Recommend suitable types of shoot based on price, depth, inventory, and sales, and align shoot and go-live activities with campaign launches and angle shot requirements.
Website – Growth Manager
- Improve Online Conversions: Analyze website traffic and user behavior to identify opportunities for optimizing the online shopping experience. Implement strategies to increase conversion rates at every stage of the customer journey.
- Create Personalized Journeys: Develop and implement personalized marketing campaigns and user journeys to enhance customer engagement and retention. Utilize customer data and segmentation techniques to deliver tailored experiences across various touchpoints.
- Analyze Campaigns: Monitor the performance of digital marketing campaigns, including email marketing, social media advertising, and paid search. Analyze key metrics such as click-through rates, conversion rates, and ROI to assess campaign effectiveness and identify areas for improvement.
- Maintain Website Health: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including web developers and designers, to ensure the ongoing maintenance and optimization of the ecommerce website. Address technical issues, improve site speed and performance, and implement SEO best practices to enhance visibility and usability.
- Drive Revenue Growth: Develop and execute strategies to drive online sales and revenue growth. Identify new business opportunities, explore partnerships and collaborations, and implement innovative tactics to attract and retain customers.
- Website Management: Oversee day-to-day management of the website to ensure it is optimized for search engines, user experience, and performance.
- SEO Optimization: Develop and implement on-page and off-page SEO strategies to increase organic traffic and improve SERP rankings.
- Traffic Growth: Drive consistent growth in website traffic through a combination of organic search, paid advertising, and referral strategies.
Requirements:
- Passionate about textiles or possessing a high level of interest in diving deep into the category.
- Driven to solve problems and highly focused on consumer centricity.
- Excellent analytical skills and ability to conduct market research and analyse consumer behaviour.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with multiple teams and stakeholders.
- Detail-oriented with a focus on optimizing processes.
- Demonstrate a high degree of accountability and ownership in managing key deliverables
- Minimum bachelor's degree in business, marketing, apparel technology or a related field.
- Work experience- 7 to 10 years
Good to Have:
- Experience in product management and/or key account management roles.
