About Us
George Projects Pvt. Ltd. is a leading manufacturer and supplier of premium UPVC Windows & Doors. We are looking for an experienced and proactive Purchase Manager to oversee procurement activities, vendor management, inventory planning, and material sourcing to ensure smooth production and project execution.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan, organize, and manage all purchasing and procurement activities.
- Source reliable vendors and negotiate the best prices, quality, and delivery terms.
- Procure UPVC profiles, hardware, glass, steel reinforcement, accessories, and other project materials.
- Obtain quotations, compare supplier pricing, and prepare purchase analyses.
- Create and issue Purchase Orders (POs) and monitor order status until delivery.
- Coordinate with Production, Stores, Projects, and Accounts departments to ensure timely procurement.
- Monitor inventory levels and prevent material shortages or excess stock.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and evaluate vendor performance.
- Ensure procurement complies with company policies and budget requirements.
- Maintain accurate procurement records, contracts, invoices, and reports.
- Conduct market research to identify new suppliers, products, and cost-saving opportunities.
Requirements
- Minimum 3 years of experience as a Purchase Manager or Senior Purchase Executive.
- Experience in UPVC Windows & Doors, Building Materials, Construction, Manufacturing, or Interior Industry is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of procurement processes and inventory management.
- Excellent negotiation and vendor management skills.
- Good understanding of Material Requirement Planning (MRP).
- Proficiency in MS Excel and ERP/Purchase Management software.
- Strong communication, analytical, and organizational skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
