Job Summary
Trishul Structure & Fabrication is looking for an experienced Fabrication Structural Engineer to join our team in Surat. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing structural steel fabrication drawings, BOQ and project estimations, reviewing structural feasibility, and providing technical support for fabrication and erection activities. The role involves close coordination with clients, consultants, project managers, production teams, and site engineers to ensure safe, practical, and cost-effective execution of industrial structural steel projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare 2D & 3D structural steel drawings for fabrication and erection.
- Develop General Arrangement (GA), fabrication, assembly, and connection detail drawings.
- Prepare BOQs, material estimations, quantity take-offs, and project cost estimates.
- Review structural designs and verify fabrication and site feasibility.
- Recommend practical and cost-effective design modifications where required.
- Coordinate with clients, consultants, project managers, and fabrication teams for technical clarifications.
- Conduct site visits for measurements, inspections, structural assessments, and progress monitoring.
- Provide technical guidance and support to fabrication and erection teams during project execution.
- Ensure all drawings comply with relevant IS Codes, engineering standards, and project specifications.
- Maintain drawing revisions, technical documentation, and engineering records.
- Resolve fabrication and site-related structural issues while optimizing material utilization and fabrication methods.
- Support estimation, planning, and tendering activities with technical inputs.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, or Mechanical Engineering.
- 4–8 years of experience in structural steel fabrication, industrial structures, or heavy fabrication projects.
- Strong knowledge of structural steel fabrication, connection detailing, and erection practices.
- Experience in BOQ preparation, quantity estimation, and project costing.
- Understanding of structural load calculations, fabrication feasibility, and industrial project execution.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD is mandatory. Knowledge of Tekla Structures, STAAD Pro, SolidWorks, and MS Excel will be an added advantage.
- Good communication, problem-solving, and coordination skills.
- Willingness to travel for site visits as required.
Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
