Job Summary
KMK Higher Secondary & Montessori School is seeking a dedicated and experienced Senior Montessori Teacher to lead our early childhood team. The ideal candidate should not only be proficient in Montessori methodology but also capable of mentoring, training, and guiding junior teachers to maintain a consistent, high-quality learning environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the Montessori teaching team with clear communication and professional guidance.
- Train and mentor assistant/junior Montessori teachers.
- Ensure adherence to Montessori standards in lesson planning and classroom setup.
- Create a nurturing, engaging, and developmentally appropriate classroom environment.
- Maintain strong communication with parents and school leadership.
- Support the academic coordinator and management in curriculum planning and review.
- Organize periodic internal training, demo classes, and workshops for the team.
Requirements
- Montessori Diploma/Certification (AMI/NAMC or equivalent).
- Minimum 3 years of teaching experience in a Montessori setup.
- Prior experience in mentoring or leading a teaching team is a plus.
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and leadership skills.
- Passionate about child development and Montessori philosophy.
- Comfortable working in a structured school system and reporting to leadership.
