- Oversee daily service workshop operations, including job allocation and workflow control.
- Ensure timely vehicle servicing, repairs, and delivery as per promised timelines.
- Monitor technician productivity and efficiency.
- Maintain workshop discipline, safety, and cleanliness standards.
- Handle customer complaints and technical concerns effectively.
- Ensure high Customer Satisfaction Index (CSI) scores.
- Monitor service follow-ups and feedback calls.
- Build long-term customer relationships to increase retention.
- Achieve monthly service revenue targets (labor, spare parts, accessories).
- Promote value-added services such as extended warranties and AMC packages.
- Monitor job card value, upselling, and cross-selling opportunities.
- Analyze service reports and implement improvement strategies.
- Supervise service advisors, technicians, and support staff.
- Provide technical guidance and on-the-job training.
- Conduct regular performance reviews and toolbox meetings.
- Ensure manpower planning and optimal utilization.
- Coordinate with spare parts department to ensure parts availability.
- Control warranty claims processing.
- Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and company policies.
- Maintain accurate service documentation and MIS reporting.
Qualifications
- Diploma / Bachelor’s Degree in Automobile Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field.
- 2–4 years of experience in automobile workshop/service operations.
- Strong understanding of automotive diagnostics and repair processes.
