About the Role
Sitara Talent is looking for a proactive and well-organized Casting Coordinator to manage casting requirements, coordinate with production houses, and maintain strong relationships with actors, models, influencers, and casting teams. Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate with production houses, casting directors, agencies, and clients regarding casting requirements.
- Source and shortlist suitable actors, models, influencers, and child artists based on project briefs.
- Communicate casting calls to registered talent through WhatsApp, email, and phone calls.
- Maintain and update the talent database with accurate profiles and portfolios.
- Schedule auditions, look tests, self-tests, and callback sessions.
- Collect and organize portfolios, introduction videos, and audition submissions.
- Follow up with clients and talent throughout the casting process.
- Manage daily casting operations and ensure timely responses.
- Build long-term relationships with production houses and creative professionals.
- Coordinate with the social media team to publish casting calls and promotional content.
- Ensure all project information and talent details remain confidential.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in any field (preferred).
- 0–2 years of experience in casting, talent management, media, or entertainment (Freshers with strong communication skills are welcome).
- Excellent communication skills in English, Hindi, and Telugu.
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Familiarity with Instagram, WhatsApp Business, Google Sheets, and Microsoft Office.
- Passion for films, OTT, television, advertising, and the entertainment industry.
- Ability to work under deadlines and coordinate with multiple stakeholders.
Preferred Skills
- Knowledge of the casting process.
- Existing contacts in the film, television, or advertising industry (added advantage).
- Basic understanding of acting portfolios and audition requirements.
- Social media communication and coordination skills.
