Job Summary
Step D is hiring a dynamic and results-driven Team Lead – Sales to lead a high-performing sales team and drive business growth. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership capabilities, a proven track record in achieving sales targets, and the ability to mentor and develop sales professionals.
This role requires a strategic thinker with hands-on sales expertise, excellent team management skills, and the ability to foster a high-performance culture while ensuring consistent revenue generation.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead, mentor, and manage a team of 5–10+ Sales Executives to achieve individual and team sales objectives.
- Drive daily, weekly, and monthly sales performance while ensuring the achievement of assigned revenue targets.
- Develop and execute effective sales strategies to maximize business opportunities and market penetration.
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs), analyze sales performance, and implement improvement plans where necessary.
- Conduct regular team meetings, performance reviews, coaching sessions, and on-the-job training to enhance team productivity.
- Ensure timely follow-up and effective conversion of qualified leads through structured sales processes.
- Collaborate with cross-functional departments to deliver a seamless customer experience throughout the sales cycle.
- Handle customer escalations professionally and provide appropriate resolutions.
- Maintain accurate sales forecasts, CRM records, pipeline management, and business reports.
- Identify new business opportunities and contribute to the organization's revenue growth initiatives.
- Foster a positive, collaborative, and performance-oriented work environment.
- Ensure adherence to organizational policies, sales processes, and quality standards.
Preferred Experience
- 5–7 years in Sales or Business Development.
- Minimum 2+ years of hands-on sales experience in B2B, EdTech, or related industries.
- Minimum 2 years of experience leading and managing a sales team of 5–10 or more members.
- Demonstrated success in consistently achieving and exceeding sales targets.
- Experience in performance management, coaching, and team development is highly preferred.
